The Lodge property, located a kilometer and a half from the town of Trevelin, is 35 acres situated on the banks of the Rio Percy, a tributary of the Rio Grande. The Rio Grande, also known as the Rio Futaleufu when it changes its name as it runs west through Chile to the Pacific Ocean, is a large river and part of the Los Alerces National Park drainage and is one of the best fisheries in the area. Los Alerces Park itself offers a variety of fishing opportunities, ranging from small lagoons and creeks, to large lakes connected by rivers, which provide a mix of dry fly, streamer, and nymph fishing, and alre to be a fishing experience that you will enjoy.
Along with the fishing there is also great food consisting of a hearty breakfast, streamside lunches, and sumptuous dinners, both North and South American style. Wine lovers will be treated to the best of local wines which are on a par with those of California 's Napa Valley . Beer drinkers will enjoy the flavorful native beers.
